Go Into All the World

And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature." - Mark 16:15

This is one of my favorite verses in the Bible. Jesus tells us in this verse to share His Word with the world. He is not asking us to do it if we want, He is telling us to do it.. He does not say wait for people to come to us, He tells us to go to them. This is a commandment from Jesus Himself. One of the biggest problems with the church today is that we have become too comfortable in our luxuries. We have become to adapted to the comforts that we have. We have the mindset that we should just sit back and say, "If Jesus wants me to witness to someone, He will send that person to me." This is a mindset that we have to change. There are people in this world who have never even heard the name Jesus Christ. How can they find salvation if we do not show them the way? It's time the church gets outside of its comfort zone and does the work that Jesus has commanded us to do.
